These introductions to sports officiating classes will provide students with the foundational knowledge and skills required to become effective and confident sports officials. The program focuses on the rules, mechanics, and responsibilities of officiating various sports. Students learn about the role of the official in maintaining fairness, safety, and sportsmanship in athletic competitions. Key focus areas include rules and regulations, mechanics, professionalism, and game management. This course is ideal for those students looking to pursue officiating in youth and adult sports. Whistles will be provided.
